Beware of Email Scams

Several members of the Vision Team received a fake email today from “Pastor Keith Gunter,” and we realize that some of you may have as well. We have also heard from other local churches that they are experiencing an uptick in scam emails posing as church staff.

Please be cautious with any email you receive, particularly when it seems out of the ordinary or does not sound like the person claiming to have sent it.

You can also check the email address that sent the message to verify whether it is authentic. As you can see in this picture below, this email says it’s from Keith Gunter, but the actual email address is not his and looks made up and strange.

Please ignore or block these messages, and do not respond to them. Definitely do not click any links shared in such emails.
