Vision Team
April Meeting Recap

The Vision Team held their monthly meeting April 7. At this meeting, the Vision Team addressed the vacancy of the administrative assistant position since NCC’s part-time assistant resigned in March. The team discussed the options of re-posting the job and beginning the interview process again or expanding Natalie Coleman’s role to include more hours for administrative tasks. The Vision Team voted to offer Natalie the role and review the decision in six months.

Members of the team also shared updates about various projects and events:

• We are working on adding more outreach and mission opportunities. NCC will have a table at Nashville Pride in June, and we are pursuing an opportunity to host a Rise Against Hunger event in the fall.

• Vision Team members Brent Necaise and Keith Dennen are leading a team in conducting an annual staff review of Pastor Keith.

• Several improvements to the facilities have been made (repairing chairs in the worship space, changing signage for restrooms in 106) and are in progress (replacing thermostats in 106 with smart thermostats to improve efficiency).

• We are consulting with Alyssa Truesdell and TME Brand Marketing as we continue to improve our online presence and visibility with the goal of helping more people find New Creation.

• Kids & Youth volunteers have been refreshed on the church’s Child Protection Policy and have received further training to ensure we’re prepared to take good care of all of our NCC children and teens.

Celebrating Pride: Love Lives Here!

At New Creation Church, we believe every person is a beloved child of God, and on Saturday, June 27, we’re taking that message of radical welcome to the heart of the city! We are looking for friendly faces to represent our community at the 2026 Nashville Pride Festival.

It’s a day of joy and hospitality, and we need your help to make it happen. We’re looking for teams of 3–4 people (or more) for each 2-hour shift to staff our booth, hand out swag, and offer a warm "New Creation" welcome to festival-goers. Whether you can give a few hours or stay for the whole afternoon, your presence helps make our message of inclusion clear and visible.

• When: Saturday, June 27 (Shifts from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

• Where: Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park

Mexico Mission Trip Fundraiser
