Stick Around After Church This Sunday November 23

It is an exciting season with so many ways to participate in worship and service to others. This Sunday, plan to stay after church for a few minutes and be a part of a couple fun holiday opportunities:

  • 🎶 If you would like to be a part of the New Creation Singers for our Christmas Showcase concert on December 14, stay in the worship area to meet with Jason for a few minutes about songs the group will sing together.

  • 🎁 Or, come to the kids area right after the worship service ends and join the kids in packing up boxes of Thanksgiving food that we will donate to families next week.

S’moresgiving This Sunday November 23

🍫 Bring a folding chair if you have one, bring the kids, bring a friend!

All Family Sunday
November 30 9:30 AM

Make plans to kick off Advent season with festive family fun Sunday, November 30.

On All Family Sunday, all ages participate together for the entire morning. We will make Christmas crafts, enjoy fellowship, and worship together. This is a favorite NCC tradition you don’t want to miss, and it's a great opportunity to bring a friend!

(If you are a passionate crafter, come early at 9:30 to get a head start. A brief worship service will begin at 10-ish, and then we’ll get back to crafting!)

Finance Team met on November 16, and the Vision Team met on November 18. Both meetings focused primarily on our budget as a church community and ways to address the discrepancy between our income and expenses. Both teams agree that it is important for our leadership to communicate more of our financial details with the entire congregation, and we are asking for everyone to consider how we can each help bridge the gap.

While expenses are incurred consistently year round, income is usually low until year end. New Creation typically sees a deficit that grows larger each month until December. As of November 13th, we have spent considerably more each month ($32,000/month) than our income ($21,000/month). The largest expenses are building rental and salaries. This is the time of year for our community to share our blessings and provide our financial support.

If you have any questions or would like to know more, please reach out to a member of the Vision Team or Finance Team. You can also email [email protected] to get in touch with all of the Vision Team members at once.
